Día Presidencial feliz

Madre's letter
That is so cool that the Thompsons are coming back! I will be excited to see her! I got both packages from you! Gracias! They were wonderful! Oh the mac and cheese! Que rico! You dont have to send me so much stuff , it is sweet but it is expensive! I love packages, but thats a lot of money! You should just save the money and start a ¨ When Emily gets home ¨ fund. WE can go on a trip or just take me to a spa because I will be so gross. Or something like that!
THats cool our ward has so many missionaries and thats awesome about Riley. I didnt know about Aaron Caruso and yeah Anna is in Romania I think. And I dont think Andrew is on one right now, but I dont know. And I dont know when I will be training, probably not too soon, because my Spanish is perfect quite yet but apparently it will happen sometime while I'm here.
Your week sounds good! (except the fish thing) but hey did I tell you my comp made a me a tuna sandwhich and I ate it and didnt cry and it wasnt terrible? (EDIT HERE AS TO NOT EMBRASS RACHEL)We had a gift exchange in our zone for Valentines Day. Another sister drew my name and got me chocolate, earrings, and a cute headband. It was so nice!
THis week not a whole lot happened. Durning one of our lessons I get to help hit fruit out of a tree. First I was given the job of holding the basket and catching the falling fruit....I wasnt very good at that, I missed almost everytime, so the boy I was doing it with realized this and gave me the big long stick and I got to knock the fruit out of the tree, I was much better at this. WE were having a grand ole time and then his mother came over and made it awkward and asked if I wanted to return after my mission and marry a guatemalan man....her son was single. No thank you. We watched a movie this morning for PDAy, it was a church movie I had never seen before, called Charley....I cried like a baby. It was great.
But yeah, I am enjoying it here, it is hard, but the people in our ward are wonderful and I have hope. I feel like I am learning and growing. A little boy in our ward got baptized this week and we actually got some investigators to come, so that was good! And A Recent Convert, who hasnt been to church since she got baptized, like since November, she came back, so that was super exciting! And another Recent Convert is getting married this Saturday! But yeah not much else to report, just keep praying for my area! I love you all! Good luck jobs! Keep me updated! Let Rach know she cant get married for a year!

Im glad they changed your shedule! Sounds a bit better. And I hope things work out with G.. Did you hear from the DA´s office? Ah snow.....I hope there is a LOT when I come back, I will run around in it in shorts, barefoot!
I have been reading the conference Ensign too. I read Holland´s talk last night! He is my favorite, in the CCM we watched a talk by him that was similar, but way more intense.
I like the quote about a man is what he laughs at, I think it is pretty much true!
Dont scare that young man(Terrell) with any of my stories! And I seriously doubt his mission will be quite like mine, but maybe there is an elder in my zone who insists that Arizona is just like Guatemala...if thats true, remind me to never live in Arizona. Like Im glad Im here now, Guatemala was where I needed to come, but I never want to live here for my real life.
Im so glad you made an (COME TO GET ME FROM GUATEMALA) account! Are you really gonna come? The people in my ward would be thrilled to meet you all! Work on your spanish! Love you!

Pizza and brownies this week!

Your week sounds good and nice! Your spanish is lovely. Was that all on your own or did google translate help? You are so crafty! You made that curtain?! I hope you and daddy both get the jobs you want and need! I pray for you all all the time. I got my package Valentines Package from you and my package from Brooke! THey were wonderful, and Brooke is so sweet! No you didnt tell me they were going to Bragg! They are being stationed there or just visiting? When are they going? I had a good meal this week! The bishop in the other ward that shares the builing with us invited us over for dinner and we had pizza and we made brownies!
How are the Shaffer´s feeling about their Matthew going on a mission? Im glad Nannie is feeling better!
Honestly nothing super exciting has happened here! WE had a movie night in our ward to try to get some new investigators, we found 3, so that was good. Our area is kind of difficult, no one really wants to progress, we are trying to figure out what we can do differently. We had interviews this week with President. They were good. he asked to see my study journal, then he read it. I didnt like this, I felt violated, but he was pleased with it. Then Presidents birthday was this week, so a group of us met at 530 in the morning! I got up at 430! to surprise him at his house with a card, cake, and fireworks! And we sang to him! It was fun, oh but I was so tired! He told us we will have like 50 sisters in the next few months and training wasnt an option, that I and another sister there would be training. Hopefully I can figure out everything before that happens!
R is not progressing sadly, he wont come to church now, I dont know whats up, but we are still visiting his family every once in a while.
I got to spend time with some members of our ward! THe members are so sweet and wonderful, they love us, even though the rest of Guatemala hates us. We taught a family in our ward how to play the game Signs yesterday! It was so fun! But yeah I just try to find people who are ready to listen to the gospel. Some people dont like us because I tell them they are wicked but whatever, I kind of like telling people off, I feel like I can say or do whatever I want. Well I can say almost whatever I want depending if I know a certain word in Spanish or not. But anyway things are hard, but good. I love you all! Be safe! And have a good Valentines Day! I will be loving Guatemalans and myself this year!

A NO WEIRD STUFF Week!

What do you mean you dont care about the Superbowl? Haha jk! Im glad you were able to outsmart that man in your class! And I always knew you were a good teacher, I wish you could come down here and teach these people for me, because sometimes I feel I am definitly lacking in that area. That was nice of Sister Thomas to think of me. Im glad to hear work is doing well and that you are eating delicious food!
I am glad you are doing better too! I miss you too, but I'll be back soon. Things are good here, our area is a bit rough, but we are trying some new things that will hopefully help. Yeah R´s mom talked to us again, but things are a bit slower with them now. We are teaching english classes, and I love them! They are so fun, all my students are so cute! We are also going to have a movie night this week to try to find some new investigators! I have not hurt myself this week, so that is good, but just give me some time, it'll probably happen again. But I heal pretty quickly.
You did tell me about your blood test, but you didn't tell me you were doing it. Where did you get it done, how much was it?How did it work?
About the package situation. I dont know. I haven't had a chance to find out, they all get sent to the mission office, and when I get a chance to go there I can check, or when we have meetings with all the missionaries the APs bring them, so all my stuff may have come and is just waiting in the office. I will try to check Wednesday. My comp works in the office and I think we are going this week, if the Elders are there I will hopefully find out. I don't know anyone specifically, but if you want to just send a box for the Elders or the Hermanas in my zone, they'd probably love it! ¨Elders or Hermanas in Zona Retalheleu¨ But I can try to talk to the Elders in the office, see if they have someone specific. Sorry, I don't have more info.
I really like my new comp, we get along well and sometimes we enjoy speaking english. She is a really good teacher and she only has 3 months left....she is freaking out, but she will be okay.
I love you I hope you have a good week! Have some fun!
