How are the Shaffer´s feeling about their Matthew going on a mission? Im glad Nannie is feeling better!
Honestly nothing super exciting has happened here! WE had a movie night in our ward to try to get some new investigators, we found 3, so that was good. Our area is kind of difficult, no one really wants to progress, we are trying to figure out what we can do differently. We had interviews this week with President. They were good. he asked to see my study journal, then he read it. I didnt like this, I felt violated, but he was pleased with it. Then Presidents birthday was this week, so a group of us met at 530 in the morning! I got up at 430! to surprise him at his house with a card, cake, and fireworks! And we sang to him! It was fun, oh but I was so tired! He told us we will have like 50 sisters in the next few months and training wasnt an option, that I and another sister there would be training. Hopefully I can figure out everything before that happens!
R is not progressing sadly, he wont come to church now, I dont know whats up, but we are still visiting his family every once in a while.
I got to spend time with some members of our ward! THe members are so sweet and wonderful, they love us, even though the rest of Guatemala hates us. We taught a family in our ward how to play the game Signs yesterday! It was so fun! But yeah I just try to find people who are ready to listen to the gospel. Some people dont like us because I tell them they are wicked but whatever, I kind of like telling people off, I feel like I can say or do whatever I want. Well I can say almost whatever I want depending if I know a certain word in Spanish or not. But anyway things are hard, but good. I love you all! Be safe! And have a good Valentines Day! I will be loving Guatemalans and myself this year!
Em
